about

Featuring "Left Hand Remix" from Rhythm Heaven Megamix and a whole lot of other songs

Fun Fact: The next four are going to have a LOT of fun facts. So be ready.

First of all, Leg Hand, Brerb Hand, and Final were all released AFTER Rhythm Nirvana (which had literally EVERY SONG), so as a way to make sure that it wasn't just listening to the same bits of music in a different order, I did my best to make it a point to add additional songs layered on TOP of some of the songs presented, so getting multiple songs at once is going to be QUITE common here.

Also, the name of "Leg Hand" and "Brerb Hand" is a reference that I'm sure the best of you will understand. Okay, now to the actual song. I'll try to only stick to the less OVERT references or just stuff I found to be clever (in other words, let me indulge myself for these next four notes)

-If you don't know why "Mad World" was chosen for Blue Bear, then you probably haven't played the original minigame. And transitioning that from 4/4 time to Blue Bear's 3/4 time was....fun

-Slumber Party is my favorite Megamix game, and even though I've seen previously made mashups shamelessly reference its similarity to Love Lab, I couldn't help myself.

-I removed Dogsong from Dog Ninja because importing it again and doing all the key change stuff was gonna be a pain. Plus it would have been three Undertale songs in a four song period.

-The "Just a Dream" ending had to be slowed down like a BITCH but I'm still glad I added it.

-You'll see a LOT of these are using the repetitive layering technique I talked about back in the notes for Flockemonogatari with a repetitive vocal cue acting as a backdrop for the real melody. It's used pretty often here over new melodies which brings variety but might distract on first listen. It opt for more of a multi-melody situation in Brerb Hand.
